This year Monsoon has been affected by EL Nino, with a large deficiency of rainfall. Due to August dry spell, crops like cotton, soybean, guar, Bajra and til in Rajasthan had severely been affected. Farmers are now preparing to sow fennel and fenugreek as their ideal sowing time is approaching. Meanwhile, light-moderate rainfalls are anticipated over some regions of Rajasthan before the withdrawal of Monsoon.
